First off let me just say how wonderful the weather has been thus far *knock on wood that it stays this amazing for the rest of the trip!*
But today I got to go to Westminster Abbey. We took the bus and then the tube down to Westminster and came out and the scene before us was beautiful. Before the Abbey is of course the Houses of Parliament and the famous bell tower that holds Big Ben. Did you know that the name Big Ben is for the biggest bell rather than for the tower itself? :) just a fun fact! But we did get to see it and it was breathtaking. Then we got into the Abbey. It was just so beautiful. The amount of time and effort that was placed into that building is amazing. There is a large amount of famous people buried there including different musicians and poets. As well as a lot of different royalty such as Queen Elizabeth I and Queen Mary. It was cool to be able to imagine where the Royal wedding was held as well as the different coronations that have taken place there as well. After going through the whole building we left going through the gift shop and we saw some of the places that they filmed Harry Potter from. There is just a small corridor that they used in a portion of one of the movies but I could tell you it felt like the real deal and I noticed it from the beginning. 
Then we broke off for lunch and I had an awesome burger and then we explored a little bit of London! The weather was beautiful and we did get to see the London Eye up close however since it was such an amazing clear day we did not ride it yesterday. But that's alright we always have time to ride it again! Then I came back home and took a nap. It was a very cool day!
